Governing Council Extends Incumbent Central Committee Term Until August, 2021

Dear IIMCians,

The Governing Council of IIMCAA has granted another four months extension, until August 2021, to the current central committee led by Mr. Prasad Sanyal owing to difficulties in conducting biennial elections at its meeting held on April 30th, 2021.

The GC meeting was attended by representatives of Maharashtra, Bihar, Jharkhand, MP, West Bengal, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh & Telangana, North East and Bangladesh chapters.

We could not organise IIMCAA Biennial Elections, originally due in October 2020, within the first extension of six months, granted by GC, owing to Covid crisis.

The current central committee term expires on 31st August now. It will try its best to conduct the pending election before August 31st, 2021.
