Ms. Kasturi Ray to Head 15 Members Committee to Review IIMCAA Memberships Clauses for Constitution Amendment

The Central Committee, at its meeting on 24th May 2026, has decided to form an empowered committee to review membership clauses in the constitution of IIMC Alumni Association. IIMCAA President Mr. Sushil Singh presided over the meeting that was attended by former President Ms. Simrat Gulati and others.

The Central Committee is hereby nominating a 15 Members committee led by Ms. Kasturi Ray (EJ, Dhenkanal | 1993-94 Batch) as Chairperson. The committee comprises office bearers and alumni from various chapters. IIMCAA's Executive President Ms. Gayatri Srivastava and Mr. Animesh Biswas will be representing the Central Committee and Co-founders respectively.

The committee shall review membership clauses to suggest appropriate changes in the constitution to make it a focal point of activities and initiatives of IIMCAA going forward. It shall also consider suggestions from alumni on this matter before making its recommendations. The Central Committee shall process the recommendations of the committee to the Governing Council and the General Body to adopt such changes in the constitution.

Alumni may email their suggestions to Ms. Kasturi Ray at raykasturi@gmail.com while marking a copy of the email to IIMCAA at alumni.iimc@gmail.com within a week, latest by next Friday, 3rd July 2026.

MoM - Central Committee Meeting | 7th February | Connections & IIMCAA Awards 2026

Dear IIMCians,

The Central Committee met at the Press Club of India on 7th February. IIMCAA President Mr. Sushil Singh presided over the meeting that was attended by several current and former IIMCAA office bearers. It discussed various aspects of Connections, IIMCAA Awards, Association's daily administration and has taken following decisions.

1. Connections 2026 Meets: CC reviewed sponsorship progress and decided to organise chapter meets preferably in states from where some support has come. It will review funds after the Delhi event and decide how many meets can be organised in which states at chapter levels. It will not host international chapter meets this year due to shortage of funds.

2. IIMCAA Awards 2026: CC discussed and selected a set of winners for Committee Awards Felicitations at Connections 2026 Global Meet in Delhi on 28th February. 

3. Authorised Signatories; CC decided to continue with current authorised signatories for the bank operations and other purposes as required for the routine administration.

MoM - Gujarat Chapter Meeting | 7th February | Connections 2026 Ahmedabad on 12th April

Dear IIMCians,

IIMCAA Gujarat Chapter met on 7th February in Ahmedabad. Chapter President Mr. Shivendra Madhusudan presided over the meeting that was attended by Chapter's Former President Dr. Pradeep Mallick, Former General Secretary Mr. Avrind Kumar, Mr. Susim Mohanty, Mr.  Dheeraj Vashishth and Mr. Utsav Jain. It discussed various issues and has decided as follows.

1. The new date for the Annual Connections Meet is 12th April 2026 (Sunday). Please mark your calendar for the same.

2. The date was deliberated and agreed by all members present.
3. It was also proposed and accepted that the Connections meet will be held over High Tea (in the case it is self funded).
4. The Connections Meet will be held over Lunch if it is centrally funded.
5. Next meeting on 22nd March: It was agreed to meet to deliberate and finalize preparation for Annual Connections Meet.

On behalf of the Gujarat chapter, I request all the members to mark your calendar for the annual meet and for the 22nd March preparatory meeting.
