Dear IIMCians,
The Bihar Chapter of IIMC Alumni Association met on 4 March, 2017 to discuss preparations for the upcoming Annual Alumni Meet of the chapter- IFFCO Connections 2017, Patna slated to be held on April 2, 2017.
It was decided that the meet will be held in the banquet hall of Kapil's Elevens situated on Fraser Road. Chapter's Vice President Mr Rajive Ranjan Chaube would host the meet.
Also, Ms. Sujata Chaturvedi, currently principal secretary to the Bihar Government and former Registrar of IIMC, would be requested to be the chief guest for the April 2 meet.
The chapter also congratulated Mr Alok Gupta (EJ, 2001-02 Batch) for winning the best reporter award in 'Agriculture Reporting' category of IIMCAA Awards 2017. He was conferred the award at the IFFCO Connections 2017 held in New Delhi on February 19.
The discussions also took place regarding finalisation of a venue for the monthly meetings of the chapter. Two alumni, Mr. Saqib Khan and Mr. Neeraj Kumar, would fix it in a week's time.
Mr. Neeraj Priyadarshi, Mr. Neeraj Kumar, Mr. Satyavrat Mishra, Mr. Abhimanyu Kumar Saha, Mr. Kapil Sharma, Mr. Alok Gupta, Mr. Saqib Iqbal Khan and Ms. Banjot Kaur attended the Saturday's meeting.
