SaveLIFE Foundation (SLF), is a young, innovative nonprofit organization established to tackle one of India's most serious problems: the extremely high number of road accident deaths, nearing epidemic proportions. With the help of Bloomberg Philanthropies, Echoing Green, Rolex and other leading organizations, SaveLIFE is creating high-impact solutions and helping save lives.
In addition to pioneering a unique strategy of supporting bystanders, who are often first at the scene of accidents, to come to the aid of victims in those critical moments after a collision, SLF has recently joined hands with WHO, World Bank and the Global Road Safety Partnership to advocate for strengthening of the Motor Vehicles Act, the principal legislation around road safety in India. The organization has won accolades globally for its work in this critical area.
