Make Your Own Destiny (M.Y.O.D) is an English language youth and career magazine focussing on 15-25 year olds in India. Launched in May 2011, we are a part of the Planman Media Group, publishers of flagship magazines The Sunday Indian (TSI), 4Ps, Business and Economy.

Brief job profile: Based in our offices in Noida, Sector 62, we are looking for a Web Editor who can also pitch in with editing copies for the print magazine and online.
Experience
Our ideal candidate is one who has managed whole/ part of a magazine/ newspaper/ publishing house/ TV/ radio website and is comfortable writing/ editing copy.
We are open to deviations from this as long as the candidate can demonstrate that he/she has the skills and interest to be able to get the job done.
As a ready primer, the following are some of the experience points we are looking for -
1) Website management.
2) Copy writing experience.
3) Knowledge of online social networks.
4) Either of print/TV/radio experience
Salary range: Rs. 30,000 – 50,000 per month
Reporter
Brief job profile: We are looking for a Reporter with appropriate knowledge of education based stories, news and contacts with schools & colleges, CBSC, UGC.
Experience
Our ideal candidate is one who can:
1) Write impeccable English
2) Prior experience of the education beat
Salary range: Rs. 25,000- 30,000 per month
