The organisation has about 25 reporters in different parts of the country apart from an editorial team from legal and journalistic background. Our legal news network covers legal news and events across the country. We are focussed upon providing news content, researched articles, features, stories and more to our readers.
Currently, we need a Sub Editor/ Reporter with 0-2 years of experience in New Delhi.
Brief job profile:
The candidate would be handling a mix of responsibility of a sub-editor and reporter on assigned days.
On the editing side work will involve editing and poof-reading copies reported by correspondents from Courts, Tribunals, and Regulators.
Candidate should have the ability to fully comprehend, rewrite and bring into order the content of the story.
The job would require a command over English, plus flair in Hindi would be appreciated. Candidate would also be required to contribute research based articles.
Experience: 0-2 years; Candidate does not necessarily need to have experience in legal reporting. However we expect the right candidate to have an enthusiasm to learn, understand, analyse and report legal, corporate-legal and policy matters. A basic degree in Law will be preferred and understanding of business matters will be an advantage.
Remuneration: INR 15,800 – 20,800 plus travel allowance
