LOK SABHA TELEVISION (LSTV)

LSTV is a 24-hour satellite Television Channel in Hindi and English.
The Channel is looking for experienced personnel for handling the work
of the Channel in Delhi.
 

1. Chief Producer (1 post):- Should have a Graduate degree from a
recognized institute/university preferably in humanities subjects.
Professional Diploma/Certificate/Degree from a reputed institution
preferably. Experience- At least 15 years in a television station as
Producer, executive Producer and similar professional positions.
Ability to organize and conduct live telecasts, on the panel in
studios, and familiarity with all aspects of production such as
scripting, shooting and editing, as well as experience in handling
administrative aspects of production, essential. Previous experience
as Chief Producer in a television Channel preferable. [Please Note:

2. Producer: Should have a Graduate degree from a recognized institute/
university preferably in humanities subjects. Professional Diploma/
Certificate/Degree from a reputed institution preferable. Experience-
At least 5-7 years experience in production, with multi -camera
experience essential. (Skill test to be held).
 

3. Anchors/Journalist in English: Should have a graduate degree in
humanities from a recognized university and at least 3-5 years'
experience with a newspaper, journal or TV Channel/production house
and at least 1-3 year's experience as an anchor; fluency in the
language and clear, articulate, confident speech; pleasant television
personality. A Professional degree in television journalism from a
reputed institution would be preferable. (Skill test to be held)
 

4. Assistant Producer: Should have a Graduate degree in humanities
from recognized university, with at least 2 years' experience as
production assistant. A professional degree/diploma from an
institution of repute and at least one-year's hands-on experience in a
television channel or production house would be preferable. (Skill
test to be held)
 

5. Audio Executive:- Should have at least 1 year's experience with a
television channel or production house. A Professional diploma/
certificate from a reputed institution in the field would be
preferable. (Skill test to be held)
 

6.Sr. Audio Executive: Should have a Diploma in sound engineering
from a recognized institute/university with at least 3 years
experience with a television/radio channel as sound recordist. (Skill
test to be held)
 

7.Graphic Executive:- Should have at least 1 year's experience on
latest graphics software and on professional computers. A professional
diploma/certificate from a reputed institute is preferable. (Skill
test to be held)
 

8.Technical Executive:- Should have a diploma in Electronics
Engineering with at least 1 year's experience in a television channel
handling transmission and MCR and PCR working. Experience with private
concerns that specialize in television transmission and studio
equipments and in setting up such systems is preferable. (Skill test
to be held)
 

9.Sr. Technical Executive: Should have 3 years Diploma in Electronics
from a recognized institute with at least 3 years experience in
television channel handling transmission and MCR and PCR working.
Experience with Private concerns that specialize in television
transmission and studio equipments and in setting up such systems.

10. Manager/Assistant Manager (Distribution):- Should have at least a
Graduate degree. 2-3 years' experience in the field of sales/corporate
communication/distribution work in private or public concerns, direct
contact with cable operators and others in the field. A Professional
diploma in hospitality/Public Relations is preferable. [Please Note:

11. Marketing Manager/Executive: Should have at least a Graduate
degree. Should have at least 4-6 years experience as a marketing
Manager/ executive in different capacities in private or public
concerns. Should be fluent in Hindi and English. A degree/diploma in
marketing from a reputed institution is preferable. [Please Note:
Candidates may contact to ED(Marketing) along with their CVs on

would be called for interviews as mentioned at Sl. No. 12.].
 

12. Those willing to be considered may come for the Skill Test for the
posts of Sl. No. 2 to 9 on 09.04.2008 between 0900 hrs. to 1000 hrs.
at Reception Office, Parliament Library Building (Opposite Gurudwara
Rakab Ganj), New Delhi. The candidates qualified in the Skill Test/
Shortlist will be interviewed at Lok Sabha Television Channel Office
at 23, Mahadev Road, New Delhi. The exact time for the interviews to
be held on 10th & 11th April, 2008 will be informed at the time of
skill test. The candidates are required to bring the following
documents in original while coming for the Skill Test:-
(a) Last pay slip received in earlier employment.
(b) Copies of Certificates (Date of Birth, Educational Qualification,
Technical Qualification etc.).
(c) Experience Certificate(s).
(d) Identity Proof.
(e) Permanent Account Number (PAN)
13. The candidates are requested to not to bring any handbag/mobile
phone, as these will not be permitted inside the Parliament Library
building.
14. The candidates selected for these posts will be engaged on
contract basis for a period of three years.
