Job Description:
Writes stories with accuracy, speed and independence, in accordance with the company's principles and operating standards.
Identifies market-moving figures and comments from sources including electronic news releases, conference calls, Web casts, press conferences and produces news items based on them.
Builds and maintains a set of contacts and sources. Manages news coordination with equities reporters in New York and Europe.
Develops expertise and knowledge in relevant areas of sector specialization through research, networking with specialist reporters in other Company's bureaux etc.

Ability to write clearly and quickly per Company's reporting standards and principles. Sound command of grammar, spelling, punctuation. Comfort with handling figures and facts accurately and capability to digest financial data. Must be able to work under time pressure and willing to work in shifts.
Typically, shifts are: 4.00 pm-1.00 am
9.00 pm/10.00-5 am/6 am
