CC MoM - One Crore Rupees Required for Connections 2025 | Delhi Meet Invite Only | Chapter Meets Contributory

Dear IIMCians,

The Central Committee met on 2nd February at IIMC HQ, New Delhi. IIMCAA President Ms. Simrat Gulati presided over the meeting that was attended by former presidents Mr. Kalyan Ranjan and Mr. Prasad Sanyal, General Secretary Ms. Deeksha Saksena, Secretaries Ms. Sneha Bhattacharjee and Mr. Shankar Pandit and CC Member Mr. Ritesh Verma. Silver Jubilee Alumni Batch Coordinator Mr. Arijit Banerjee, Gujarat Chapter President Mr. Shivendra Madhusudan, former General Secretary Ms. Sadhna Arya, Mr. Atul Gupta, Mr. Komal Badodekar and Ms. Khushi Sharma were also present.

1. The Central Committee discussed and noted that the number of meets are decreasing every year since 2022, when IIMCAA hosted a total 28 meets across India and abroad. 16 meets were organised in 2023 and 11 in 2024. It found rising year on year costs against stagnant sponsorship is the primary reason behind this decline. CC has resolved to try to achieve one crore rupees by sponsorship to restore all meets that took place in 2022.

2. Global Meet in Delhi remains a priority followed by chapter meets that contribute to the sponsorship drive. If we fail to raise required funds, we will pick cities based on zonal and international representation and activities of the chapter during the last one year.

3. Global Meet in Delhi will be an invitation only event. Alumni will be required to pay and register to get an invite except for Team IIMCAA, Lifetime Members, Award Winners, Guests etc decided by the CC.

4. Chapter Meets will be contributory in nature. The Chapter Committee will fix the contribution amount for alumni, independently.

5. The Central Committee has approved a proposal to take services of agencies/consultants in raising new sponsorships or reviving inactive sponsorships. Agencies/consultants will be paid a service fee up to 20 percent plus taxes for such sponsorships.
