These posts are equivalent to the UDCs and definitely lesser than a non - professional assistant. The latest Pay Commission merged the advertised posts with the senior grade. Therefore, if you have any students union of your esteemed university - please represent to the Ministry and demand for Sr. Grade posts instead Jr. Gr Posts.
