Editors
If you are a bookwork with a penchant for the world of academia, then why not consider pursuing a career in book publishing? Sage India, a vibrant publishing house, is expanding domestic program at a phenomenal rate. We are on the lookout for Editors to work on academic books and journals of international repute.
What we want: Apart from a command over and a love for the English language, he must posses refined interpersonal skills to win over authors. The ability to thrive under deadline pressures and remain unflustered while multitasking is desirable. You will be responsible for quality checking edited manuscripts for style and editorial content, language, references and citations.

Proof readers
You will be responsible for reading proofs to ensure that manuscripts are error free. You need to have an eye for detail and a command over the English language. Preference will be given to applicants with proof-reading experience and to those who can adhere to deadlines.

- 1+ years of financial journalism/editorial experience with a reputed firm

It will cover subjects such as poverty issues, Bollywood, India's economy, western outsourcing to India (such as call centres) and media topics. There will be a special emphasis on international news reporting for U.S. and Indian audiences. Classroom tutorials will be reinforced with practical exercises and field trips.
