Press Trust of India seeks people at its head office in New Delhi and regional office in Mumbai.
Experienced journalists:
- for positions in desk/reporting
- must have 5 years' of experience in mainline English media
- proficiency in English and good re-writing skills a must
Probationary journalists:
- degree/diploma in journalism
- age limit 30
- 2 years experience in mainline journalism, preferably with a news agency/leading newspaper
Trainee journalists:
- graduate with 50% marks
- degree/diploma in journalism
- age limit 25
- selected candidates will undergo a paid traineeship in New Delhi
Selection process:
- Candidates for trainee/probabtionary journalists will have to sit in a written test at Delhi/Mumbai. All appointees are liable to be transferred anywhere depending on the company's requirements.
